Elevating Workplace Identity

I redesigned ITVS’s in-office signage, including name tags, room signs, desktop backgrounds, screensavers, iPad screens, presentation decks, and a welcome screen video. Using the existing logo, colors, and typeface in innovative ways, I gave the brand a fresh, updated feel to create a revitalized workplace for the returning staff.

Existing Designs (Before)

The existing designs for ITVS’s office signage felt rote and stale. After so much time away from the office, ITVS wanted a fresh look to welcome back its staff, without completely updating their brand fundamentals.

Design Process

To give ITVS a more contemporary feel without overhauling its brand, I came up with some key additions that would bring its look and feel to the next level while keeping the bones of its brand the same, including gradients, textures, and new brand patterns. I then came up with four different examples of how these additions could be applied.

Option 2: Blend gradient & pattern with high contrast use of brand colors

Option 3: Intensify brand colors & pair with dynamic gradient

Option 4: Keep primary brand colors but with innovative use of patterns & brand shapes

Final Result

After various feedback sessions with upper management, we decided to employ the droplet pattern from option two, emphasizing ITVS’s secondary colors and deepening the ITVS navy into a bolder, deeper blue. This increased contrast, combined with the updated pattern, created a fresh and contemporary feel for the office while still utilizing the existing brand colors, typography, and iconic droplet shape.
